Tripped Up LoveTripped Up Love by Julie Farley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book truly was a pleasure to read and the characters, especially Heather were plausible, entertaining and lively. Some of the writing was questionable. Not that it wasn't good but the repetition, POV switches and speed at which some things happened were not my high moments in Heather's story.

Heather's husband has died. More than a year later she is still coping with her emotions. She meets Peter and the story kicks off from this point. However, between Heather and Peter, Heather's character development was far more realistic than Peter. He was too perfect and I don't see many readers being able to connect with him.

I liked that the author highlighted the downsides to social media. While I appreciate the convenience I find Facebook and Twitter daunting at the way so many people want to talk at the time. For me, this was a big plus point in the book.

I also liked the snarky, witty conversation. Anyone who loves romance books must give this book a try. We may not all agree about Peter's beyond perfect charms but sometimes we all need a Peter in the books we read to restore a bit of hope in our lives. Bravo Julie Farley.
