James McGovern on the Martin King #Series @mcgovernwriter #YA #SciFi

Do you plan to publish more books?
Yes! I’m currently working on the next two books in the Martin King series as well as a short prequel that will be available for free in the Kindle store.
Who is your favorite author?
I have many. Jeffrey Archer is a brilliant storyteller, as is J.K. Rowling.
How do you write – laptop, pen, paper, in bed, at a desk?
Always a laptop, except when I don’t have it. Then I use a pen, grudgingly.
How often do you write? And when do you write?
I always try to write at least 5000 words a day, whenever I can get some quiet.
What movie do you love to watch?
Pulp Fiction.
What would you love to produce in your life?
Lots of books.
Do you find the time to read?
Yes, I read an awful lot. I’m currently reading a lot of Victorian literature.
How do you feel about social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter? Are they a good thing?
Apart from the weak-minded, bitter trolls, they are great marketing tools!
How do you feel about self-publishing?
I prefer the term ‘independent publishing’, and I think it’s a wonderful thing for writers.
What genre are you most comfortable writing?
I’m working mainly on Teen Sci-Fi at the moment, but I also love writing poetry.
